Can you trust your WordPress plugin??

An important point to be aware of when dealing with CMSes like WordPress that have the facility to take "plugins" (ie easy software addons), is that not all of them have the quality you might want for your website.

Flash? Just say no!!

 

Some of you will be familiar with the idea of "Flash" on web pages.  Flash is a special visual interface programming language that used to run on nearly everything.  It's commonly used for movie web pages – those fancy websites that you go into that do everything for you.  YouTube and similar sites use it to show videos in a portable way.

It used to be that Flash was a great idea as it just worked everywhere.

Not so anymore!

Never. Forget. A. Password. again! Ever!!!

 

Ever experienced losing a password? And having to waste time getting a reset code or link emailed to you? Or having to register yet again? We have .. many times!! Until we found a wonderful little tool recently.

I was quite amazed to discover a wonderful little tool called LastPass about 6 months ago and I’ve been delighted with how useful this gadget has been, and how well implemented it is. LastPass encrypts and saves your passwords safely in a database and will allow you to share them across computers.
